The origin

The project was born from a simple observation: many English speakers underestimate how deceptive French can be — especially false friends that look familiar but mislead in real life.

A word like actuellement looks safe. It isn’t. Those small misunderstandings can create real friction — in exams, in paperwork, at work, or in daily life in France.

Test Your French focuses on those blind spots.
